The private longtail excursion price includes an extra 1,000 THB per booking when Sunset Trip is selected. Any transfer is shown separately. Departures outside Koh Phi Phi add 2,000 THB per guest for shared van pickup from your hotel and round-trip travel by speedboat or ferry. Should I choose the 4-hour or 6-hour VIP tour?
The 4-hour tour is ideal for shark snorkeling and a selection of nearby highlights. Choose 6 hours for a slower pace, more stops and the option to add Bamboo Island. Your package price updates according to your selected group size.
Is shark snorkeling included in the private tour?
Shark snorkeling is Sharkline Marine’s specialist experience and can be the main focus of your private Phi Phi itinerary. Choose Shark Spot during booking or ask the team to organise the best possible route for the conditions.
Are shark sightings guaranteed?
Blacktip reef sharks are wild animals, so no wildlife encounter can be guaranteed. However, thanks to our local knowledge of their habitats and the best times to find them, sharks have been seen on 100% of our trips to date.
Is it safe to swim with blacktip reef sharks?
Yes. Blacktip reef sharks are harmless to humans. Simply keep a respectful distance and never feed or touch them to ensure a calm and peaceful encounter.
Can I choose the other places we visit?
Yes. Private tours offer a custom itinerary. Depending on your duration and conditions, you can request Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Viking Cave, Monkey Beach or ask the team to recommend the best route. If you choose Maya Bay with beach access, an additional 400 THB per person national park fee applies. Bamboo Island is available only on a 6-hour tour and costs an additional 1,000 THB above the base 6-hour price.
Where does the private boat tour depart from?
All private longtail boat tours depart from Koh Phi Phi. If you select Phuket, Koh Lanta, Ao Nang or Krabi, we will arrange your hotel pickup and shared transfers by van and speedboat or ferry to Koh Phi Phi, where your private longtail boat tour begins.
What is your cancellation policy for bad weather?
If we cancel the trip due to dangerous sea conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
What is included on board?
The VIP tour includes the private boat, a private local guide, masks and snorkels, drinking water, soft drinks and fresh fruit. Life jackets and passenger insurance are provided; check the booking summary for all current inclusions and paid extras.
