A minimum booking of two guests is required. Sunset Trip costs 500 THB more per person than Morning Trip. The displayed total includes your selected departure. Transfers from Phuket, Koh Lanta, Ao Nang and Krabi add 2,000 THB per person and connect you with the longtail departure in Koh Phi Phi.

What is a classic longtail join trip?
It is a shared boat experience. You join other travellers aboard a traditional longtail boat and follow a programme prepared by Sharkline Marine’s local team.
What is the minimum booking?
The minimum booking is two guests. Select at least two participants when reserving your join trip.
Can I choose the itinerary?
No. Unlike a private tour, the join trip follows a predefined shared route. Our team chooses the most suitable programme and order of stops for the day’s conditions.
Which places are included?
Shark snorkeling, Pileh Lagoon and Viking Cave are included in the planned route. Stops and timing remain subject to weather, waves, tides, access rules and safe marine conditions.
Does the trip include Maya Bay beach?
No. Beach access is not included. When wave and sea conditions permit, the boat enters the lagoon so you can see Maya Bay from the water.
Are shark sightings guaranteed?
Blacktip reef sharks are wild animals, so no wildlife encounter can be guaranteed. However, thanks to local knowledge of their habitats and the best times to find them, sharks have been seen on 100% of our trips to date.
Is it safe to swim with blacktip reef sharks?
Yes. Blacktip reef sharks are harmless to humans. Keep a respectful distance and never feed or touch them to ensure a calm encounter.
Where does the longtail boat depart from?
All classic longtail boat trips depart from Koh Phi Phi. If you select Phuket, Koh Lanta, Ao Nang or Krabi, we arrange the shared transfer that connects you with the trip in Koh Phi Phi.
What happens if the weather is unsafe?
If we cancel the trip due to dangerous sea conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
