1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services offered by Sharkline Marine (hereinafter « Sharkline Marine », « we », « us », or « our ») through its website and booking form. By submitting a booking request, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Sharkline Marine offers snorkeling and boat excursion activities in Thailand. All activities are subject to availability, weather conditions, and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 Booking Process

Bookings are made via our online reservation form. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit payment and written confirmation from Sharkline Marine.

2.2 Deposit

A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is required at the time of reservation to secure your spot. The remaining 50% balance is due on the day of the activity, prior to departure.

2.3 Accepted Payment Methods

Payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation. All prices are quoted inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation by the Client

The following cancellation policy applies:

• More than 24 hours before the scheduled activity: full refund of the deposit paid.
• Less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity: no refund of the deposit.
• No-show on the day of the activity: no refund.

3.2 Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule their activity, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the originally scheduled activity. Sharkline Marine will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests at no additional charge.

3.3 Cancellation by Sharkline Marine

Sharkline Marine reserves the right to cancel or modify any activity due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or any circumstances beyond our control (force majeure). In such cases, clients will be offered:

• A full refund of all amounts paid, or
• The option to reschedule to an available date.

Sharkline Marine shall not be held liable for any additional costs incurred by the client (transport, accommodation, etc.) in the event of a cancellation by Sharkline Marine.

4. Age & Health Requirements

4.1 Minimum Age

All participants must be a minimum of 1 month old to take part in any Sharkline Marine activity. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who accepts full responsibility for the minor.

4.2 Health & Fitness

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in adequate physical health to participate in the chosen activity. By confirming a booking, you declare that you and all members of your party do not have any medical condition that could endanger your safety or the safety of others during the activity.

5. Insurance

Insurance coverage is included in the price of all Sharkline Marine activities. This insurance covers participants during the activity against accidents occurring during the session.

Clients are advised to hold their own personal travel insurance covering medical expenses, repatriation, and personal liability. Sharkline Marine shall not be held responsible for any losses, damages, or injuries not covered by the included insurance policy.

6. Safety & Conduct

The safety of our clients and staff is our highest priority. All participants must:

• Follow the instructions of the Sharkline Marine guide or captain at all times.
• Wear all safety equipment provided (life jackets, snorkeling gear, etc.) as directed.
• Behave responsibly and respectfully towards other participants, staff, and marine life.
• Inform the guide of any health concern prior to the start of the activity.

Sharkline Marine reserves the right to remove from the activity any participant who does not comply with safety instructions, without refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sharkline Marine shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from:

• Failure to follow safety instructions provided by Sharkline Marine staff.
• Pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed prior to the activity.
• Circumstances beyond Sharkline Marine’s reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, sea conditions, or acts of third parties.
• Theft or loss of personal belongings during the activity.

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Sharkline Marine’s total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking in question.

8. Environmental Responsibility

Sharkline Marine is committed to the protection of the marine environment. All participants are expected to:

• Refrain from touching, disturbing, or collecting coral, fish, or any marine life.
• Avoid littering in or around the water.
• Follow the environmental guidelines provided by our guides.

9. Photography & Media

Sharkline Marine may take photographs or videos during activities for promotional purposes. By participating in our activities, you grant Sharkline Marine the right to use such images for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify our team before the start of the activity.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
